Maybe I was the only one, but I really enjoyed how much you got into the legal precedents in your history of communication in Superbloom. Good to see all that research being put to use here, an excellent analysis.

From Gutenberg on, publishers have always published “user generated content” from which they were/are not immune to prosecution. Random House does not write the books it publishes but it is liable for any libelous content. Section 230 set up an unprecedented and unfair distinction based on the lunatic free-market optimism of WIRED and other Info Highway zealots. Time for its repeal.
